Six nights and five full days of fishing in the Cerro Castillo area, one of the most scenic corners of Aysén. The region gives us access to multiple lakes, small lagoons and lively little rivers. There's more than enough to fish different waters every day without repeating. From our base we fish both private lagoons — where no one else can access during those days — and public lakes.
The fishing here is varied: from lagoons full of fish and action, to waters where that's quieter but which can reward you with the trout of your life.
Mostly wild brown and rainbow trout, averaging 16 to 22 inches — with real chances at trout over 25 inches. One guide per two anglers means close attention on the water, whatever your level.
You'll stay in a cabin on the shore of a renowned lagoon. It's our base of operations — a spot close to an endless variety of fishable waters, giving us a different fishing option every day.
All meals are included. Each day starts with an early breakfast before heading out with the guides to fish the whole morning. At midday your guide prepares lunch in the field. Fishing continues through the afternoon, and back at the cabin we welcome you with an aperitif and dinner. All drinks are included too: beers, local wines, pisco sour and more.
Airport pickup at Balmaceda, transfer to Cerro Castillo, welcome dinner and gear check.
Rotating days across lakes, small lagoons and lively rivers — matching the water and technique to the conditions and to what you want to fish.
